WAILUKU – J. Walter Cameron Center Executive Director Cesar Gaxiola today announced the hiring of Amy Cozad as the organization’s Philanthropy Coordinator.
Having a deep passion for serving others and changing lives within the local community and the world, Cozad obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a specialty in Nonprofit Administration and Youth Development from the University of Northern Iowa where she developed expertise in the field of development and fundraising for nonprofits.
Amy served as the Director of Resource Development for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance where she was able to develop annual campaign strategies as well as coordinate workshops and training in fundraising for college students and has presented on various fundraising and development topics at the National Conference for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance, Alliance Management Institute. With a strong passion for changing lives, Amy is looking forward to working with the J. Walter Cameron Center to accelerate social good in the Maui community.

The J. Walter Cameron Center is a 501 c non-profit organization, that provides over 43,000 square feet of office space under 6 individual buildings to fifteen Resident Agencies that provide Health and Human Services to over 30,000 Maui Community clients annually.
